Dr. Mohanad El-Assaad, a dual Belgian and Lebanese national, holds a Ph.D. in Social and Political Science and an M.A. in Development Cooperation from Université Libre de Bruxelles, alongside a B.A. in Economics and a D.E.U.G. in Law. With over 25 years of international experience, he is the Managing Director of PRODEV Group, a consultancy addressing institutional, social, and economic challenges across MENA. He has held executive roles at Cowater International and IBF Consulting and has led impactful initiatives as President of Lebanon for Development and the Society of Management & Development Consultants. Additionally, he was the president and founder of the Belgian Business Council in Lebanon. Decorated as an Officer of the Order of Leopold II by King Philippe of Belgium, Dr. El-Assaad is a socio-economist and a recognized program director who has worked in over 30 countries across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
